Original Lyrics

I am a man of constant sorrow,
I’ve seen trouble all my day.
I bid farewell to old Kentucky,
The place where I was born and raised.
(The place where he was born and raised )

For six long years I’ve been in trouble,
No pleasures here on earth I found.
For in this world I’m bound to ramble,
I have no friends to help me now.
(He has no friends to help him now.)

It’s fare thee well my old lover.
I never expect to see you again.
For I’m bound to ride that northern railroad,
Perhaps I’ll die upon this train.
(Perhaps he’ll die upon this train.)

You can bury me in some deep valley,
For many years where I may lay.
Then you may learn to love another,
While I am sleeping in my grave.
(While he is sleeping in his grave.)

Maybe your friends think I’m just a stranger
My face, you’ll never see no more.
But there is one promise that is given
I’ll meet you on God’s golden shore.
(He’ll meet you on God’s golden shore.)

VOCAL

I see the wor-ld in big bright colors
I see the darks, I see the lights
But watching the TV in the eve-nings
The plots are great but the colors ain't right

CHORUS

The plots are great but the colors ain't right

VOCAL

Pre-ee historic cave-men and modern humans
can see four thou-sand shades of grey
But Ci-nemas and Tellys
stopped at 200 until today

CHORUS

stopped at 200 until today

VOCAL

Reds, greens, and blues of our great planet
have richer tones than any diplay
Hi-y-igh Dynamic Ra-ange
should make your screen look bright as day

CHORUS

should make your screen look bright as day

VOCAL

Getting to the screen from any camera
Needs special tech or it might fail
HDR 10, HLG and Dolby Vision
Are just a few you'll see on sale

CHORUS

Are just a few you'll see on sale

VOCAL

Which one is best? You might ask us
The movie studios - they make the call
So when you are buying your next TV
Just make sure - it does them all

CHORUS

Just make sure - it does them all

VOCAL

Watching HDR is really special
Shiny reflections seem to abound
But please don't forget the greates pictures
Only exist with awesomne sound

CHORUS

Only exist with awesomne sound
